I’ve been trying to think of a way to accelerate Kog’Maw’s early game and I think I found it. What you need is a support duo who can get you lane prio at level 1. Do not leash the jungler so you can get a head start on the race to level 2.

Starting either boots or dagger, you can crash the 3rd wave and cheater recall to buy Berserker’s Greaves. From there, you should be able to bully most matchups, and you can start freezing waves to starve them while staying safe from ganks.

Inspiration is not a bad secondary tree since Cosmic Insight gives you Ghost, Flash, or Cleanse in more fights, which is a critical swing. And Future’s Market will continue to accelerate your already cheap Guinsoos build even faster.

You can even buy refillable potion with your boots or dagger and still afford Greaves, but that’s if you don’t miss a single last hit. You can just buy 1 or 2 pots instead if you want a margin of error.
