r/Scams – ANGELINK IS A SCAM DONT FALL FOR THE PAID ADVERTISING !

The new “for women by women” fundraising platform Angelink is a scam. A friend of mine made a fundraiser for her cat for an emergency life threatening surgery and raised several hundred dollars only for the fundraiser to delete itself with no way to contact the company directly except through email which never get replied to. I’ve searched for hours now on the internet to see any of its legitimacy and all I can find are OBVIOUSLY fabricated reviews from accounts that were just made to post a positive review about Angelink. Even in the appstore you can find others saying the same thing but they’re being drowned out by the mass amounts of fake accounts boasting about how great the platform is. You can also blatantly tell that Angelink paid Google out the wazoo to have several pages of their own page displayed as the top results drowning out any possible REAL conversation about the site. The site is also so new that there is little else even available information wise, they use their buzzword catch phrase “fundraising for women created by women” to lure in sympathetic people while knowing and openly stating in their mission statement that over 80% of online donations are made by women. DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE AND PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ON OTHER FORUMS/ WHEREEVER YOU CAN SO WHEN PEOPLE ARE INEVITABLY SCAMMED THEY CAN FIND REAL INFORMATION ON IT AND NOT FABRICATED BS.
