r/Scams – How do you sell a gift card?

I want to get the money off this gift card that’s £14. I put it on Facebook Marketplace and covered the card number on the front then I got a message asking for the front of the card but with the first 8 numbers covered (to check it’s legit I guess) then the back with the barcode covered and then she asked to see the full front of the card without covering the numbers.

I’m thinking that this is kinda sus cos then they could use it and take the £14 and I’ll get nothing but I’ve never sold a gift card before so I’m not sure how it’s done.
