r/Scams – Is notify@twitter.com legit? If so, what does it mean?

I haven’t used Twitter in a while, I was never very active, and there’s no evidence that my account is still online. I’m guessing this is a scam but something doesn’t sit right with me about it.

I looked up the username and it is indeed the name of a real account. Is this a scam, a case of stolen/misused information, or a weird case of an email meant for someone else being diverted to me?

I asked on r/twitter, too, but they autodelete any support questions and I didn’t feel like dealing with them.
