r/Scams – Trying to watch a movie for free scam pop up

Hi, I just had a question. So I was trying to watch a movie and I was checking some random sites on my iPad and found one. The movie seemed to start playing but the audio was off so I clicked on the audio button in the corner and was brought to a page saying my iPad was compromised. I was on Google so I instantly got out and closed the tab.

I’ve seen messages and scams like this before and everyone says as long as you didn’t click or sign into anything you’re fine but I wanted to double check here just in case.
