r/VRchat – False Ban by VRChat Moderators – Account Made in 2018…

Hello everyone,

As a loyal member of VRChat since 2018, I was shocked to receive a permanent ban for supposedly using a modified client, when I have never done such a thing. In fact, I rarely even accessed the account, only logging in once a month or so. Also, the account I just got banned? I never used for like a year.

I want to make it clear that I have never used any modified clients and have always been a loyal member of VRChat. Additionally, there is nothing suspicious on my computer that would suggest otherwise.

What’s more frustrating is that this isn’t the first time I’ve been unjustly banned.

I made a ban appeal for a previous false ban on an alt account, and even though I was innocent, I endured the punishment when they shortened it to a month (It was permanent at the first). But this time, I won’t just sit back and accept an unjustified ban.

What’s frustrating is that actual hackers are not getting banned, while innocent members like me are being penalized. Literally I saw a hacker right 2 days ago, when I was in VRChat.

I have nothing suspicious on my computer, and yet VRChat moderators continue to accuse me of wrongdoing.

And this time? When I reached out to VRChat’s moderation team to inquire about the ‘ANOTHER’ false ban,

Dear VRChat Moderator,

I am writing to express my extreme anger and frustration over the unjust permanent ban that has been imposed on my account.

This is not the first time that I have been banned without any reason or explanation. In the past, I have been banned multiple times with different accounts, all for ‘using a modified client’, which I have never done.

I have always been innocent, and it is unacceptable that I have been repeatedly punished without any proper investigation. Whenever I asked for an explanation regarding my previous bans, I never received any response, and the only thing that happened was the shortening of my ban duration to one month. I have been enduring these bans, staying calm and hoping for a fair resolution, but I cannot tolerate it anymore.

It is incredibly frustrating and unfair to be banned for something I did not do. My current account was created in 2018 and has not been accessed for nearly a year. I used it for the first time yesterday and got banned for using a modified client, which I have not done.

Therefore, it is extremely unfair and frustrating that my account has been banned once again. I demand to know why I am being targeted and punished for something I did not do while actual hackers and cheaters are going unpunished.

I urge you to check my login history and investigate the matter further to see that I have not done anything wrong. I will not sit back and accept this ban without a proper explanation and investigation.

I am beyond angry and frustrated with this situation, and I demand that my account be released from the ban immediately. I expect a prompt resolution to this issue.

I was simply told that my appeal had been denied and that the decision was final. It’s incredibly frustrating to be accused of something I didn’t do and then have my appeals ignored.

To add insult to injury, I received a denial message just minutes later. It’s clear they didn’t even bother to review my case properly.

I hope VRChat can improve their moderation process and treat their loyal players with more fairness and respect.

I urge VRChat moderators to reconsider their decision and to treat their loyal members with more respect. False accusations and hasty judgments only serve to harm the community they claim to protect.
